Hi! I’m Mandy. On any given Sunday (or any day, for that matter), my barrage of hats may include those of a wife, mom, step-mom, dog-mom, daughter, sister, divorcee and widow. Can’t forget lover of home decor, budding gardener, fashionista, OT and mompreneur. Out of the dust came stories that recount journeys of sunshine and progress and hope, while others detail shattered dreams and stormy nights. Metaphors, analogies and silly little photos capture my heart and chronicle a life of joy, sorrow, triumph and tragedy (& most days a burning desire for coffee. A lot of coffee.)
Its a messy, scattered journey of trying. Trying so.darn.hard. Trying to get it right, to figure out what’s wrong, to fit in, to stand out, to find purpose, and sometimes to just not lose hope (or my mind.)
But on every day I strive to laugh at least a little, and most of all, to find meaning in the mess- a way to give every shred of glory (& all of my tears, too) to Him. For I am Jesus’ work in progress.
And He makes beautiful things… out of the dust.
